How we brought together all our old friends
SoE-PU Alumni Association is a registered body under Societies Registration Act 1860. Its purpose is to foster, maintain and support a mutually beneficial relationship between alumni and the SoE, University of the Punjab. The Executive Committee, comprising elected Fellow Members of Alumni and Senior Vice President (A Faculty member nominated by department SoE), governs the Association as per approved Articles of Association, setting policy, providing guidance for the Association’s programs and activities, and represents the interests of alumni to the SoE. Director SoE, PU, is the patron of the Alumni Association.
Institute of School of Economics, Punjab University
Institute of School of Economics, University of the Punjab traces its history back to 1972 when it was established as a department. This department was upgraded as an institute in 1987. This was a great milestone in the history of the University, as SoE was only the second Institute in Pakistan where Business Administration was taught. It has grown ever since and produced numerous great names in different fields.
Over the years, SoE has earned national and international repute for its teaching and research. It has produced more than 10,000 graduates who are known for their outstanding professional expertise and proficiency, both within and outside the country.
